The S-Power solid-state power unit is designed to provide stable and reliable aircraft power, even under challenging conditions. It integrates technologies such as low-voltage ride-through (LVRT), space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), voltage decoupling control, and dynamic voltage compensation, which together maintain stable voltage output and consistent power delivery under unbalanced load conditions.

LVRTech™: Maintaining Stability During Voltage Dips

AEME’s LVRTech™ is an independently developed voltage stability solution that enables the unit to continue operating during short-term grid voltage drops and interruptions. When operating below 50 kW and the input voltage falls by 60% (to 160 V), the unit can maintain operation for up to 2 seconds.

This extended ride-through duration provides several operational advantages:

    • Critical Response Time: Gives maintenance teams valuable time to respond and initiate repairs.

    • Effective Equipment Protection: Maintains power continuity to prevent faults or damage caused by voltage fluctuations.

    • Enhanced Operational Continuity: Ensures reliable and continuous operation of airport ground equipment, supporting uninterrupted aircraft operations.

The combination of these features improves the reliability and safety of aircraft power supply, particularly in environments with unstable or fluctuating grid conditions.
